All Things are Relative
Good Day All,
The location of the land and house we bought is 15 miles from where the kids are housed now. We still have work to do before we can move in, so in the meantime Tonny hired a man to live there and watch the investment. The corn, casava, and bananas would not last long without someone to be on guard for thieves. Though, I don’t know that I’d fault a man in this country for taking food to feed himself. Anyway, we had to hire new help recently. He’s agreed to work for $54 a month.
Last week I was contacted by the friend of a friend who is helping a Sudanese widow with 8 children in her care. They needed a cell phone to communicate. Tonny was gracious, got the lady a phone, and delivered it. An Android smart phone with a nice case cost $240, less the service that’s sold by the minute like a Walmart Tracfone.
Compare these to US prices and you’ll understand why I’m still shocked.
Below is the reason we do what we do.
Kilimutu – 11 years; Byamukama Victor – 12; Kityo Mukuye Farouk – 12; Kamya Shafic – 13; Aira Williams – 13; Halai Savior – 10; Musingo Edrine – 14; Halai Gift – 9; Nabuma Cissy – 5; Okillia Difus – 15; Nahwera Angel – 6; Nakaweesi miracle – 8; Webare favor – 7; Amooti Valeria – 10; Namugomba jovina – 12; Mansamba Jovita – 9; Alia okwi – 7; Kirabo Aminah 10; Namayanja Flavia – 12; Mwizuke Joseph – 11; Elizabeth Gift – 14; Katungyera Augustine – 16; Muhereza Vincent – 16; Okilla Michael – 16; Ahumuza destiny – 6; Bahirwe Alvin – 9; Ahumuza Kevin – 7; Wasswa Suleiman - 13

God Bless,
