Behind the Scenes
Hello Again,
Saying “brick by brick” is so true. Everything is made of bricks where we’re building. Most countries use bricks as opposed to wood for the construction of their dwellings. I visited Poland some years ago and that country is covered in trees, but their houses are made from cinder blocks (consisting of coal cinders thus the name) or concrete. My friend Tony called them “hole blocks” because of they have holes in them. We are still progressing at the property, brick by brick, and looking forward to seeing the last one.
Many of the animals in Uganda look at humans as a midday meal, so we’re not taking any chances. The security fence now has razor wire installed along the perimeter. The place is not unique. Steel doors, gates, barred windows and razor wire is the norm.
Malaria is making its rounds through the kids and adults. Four were treated in the hospital the past week—Faith, Blessing, Rodney, and Alia. They are on the mend, thank you, Lord!
Life is just life wherever we live it. Good health makes it brighter.
Thank you all. You can’t always see the effects, but your support touches lives.
Pray for us all and thank you.
