Finishing Strong

There is nothing worse than reading a book written in the first person when words other than “I” are not frequent or listening to someone’s “I” story…

I did. I saw. I went. I. I. I. Every sentence.

I’m thankful for the “you” and the “we” in Mammon to Manna. Very thankful for you and your faithfulness in giving. “I” cannot do it alone.

The kids are well and fed. Though, a couple of youngsters suffered with malaria and were treated.

Christmas is around the corner. We have taken in generous donations to provide extra for the kids this year, both necessities and some playthings. Afterall, kids are kids! A meal of meat and fruit will be provided. Faith and Tonny will cook for 36 mouths, theirs included, over charcoal.

Pray for them.

Our projects are progressing. The latrine structure is close to complete. It’s a four-seater, two for girls and two for boys. They are partitioned and private, not like some you might see depicted in the movies or might even have firsthand knowledge of.

We still need to finish the kitchen that was delayed to build the latrine, because of the caretaker’s needs. Next, a bathhouse, pipe all structures for water, wire for electricity, plaster, tile the floors, drill a water well, and move in.

Again, day by day, brick by brick. All in God’s time.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
