News & Updates

God Day! as Tonny always opens his texts.

I pray everyone is well.

All our kids are well at present. Thank you, Lord. Amooti Valeria, a ten-year-old girl, suffered from malarial fever, but recovered quickly with treatment. Innocent, the young man who had TB is still on the mend.

The kitchen I mentioned last month has been built. Still have work to do inside. Our plan is to complete each structure, (now need his and her baths and restrooms), then finish the inside of all, drill a well with its infrastructure, and move in. This is in the future of course, but I can see it.

I can’t wait.

During the brick-laying phase, Tonny paid a guy to ferry water on a bicycle, for mixing mortar. Then, one day, he sent me a short movie clip of two large drums he’d place next to the house and the torrent of rainwater filling them.

Tonny hired a man to tend the bananas, corn, and cassava growing on the property and recently gave him a bump in pay to $4 a day to keep him.

$4.00 a day!

I’m still amazed at that.

We are more than blessed.

Thank God for all things and pray for us and the kids. Pray for peace in Israel because only Jesus can bring it. I look forward to seeing Him.

Blessing all.
